Affiliate disclosure

Draft — to be reviewed by a qualified professional before launch.

Mixistry is free to use. To help keep it that way, some links to bar tools, glassware and hosting gear may be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and the price you pay is the same.

How we choose what to recommend

Our equipment advice comes first and stands on its own: every recipe lists the tools and glass it actually needs, whether or not a shop link is available. A retailer can't pay to be recommended, and we never change a recipe to sell a product.

How affiliate links are marked

Affiliate links appear as “Shop at [retailer]” buttons, always after a recipe's instructions, never in the middle of them. A short note appears on any page that has one. They open the retailer's site, where your purchase is handled entirely by them.

Prices and product images

We only show a price with the date we checked it, and prices change, so the retailer's site is always the final word. Product photos come from the retailer.

What we track

We count clicks on these links (which retailer, which product, which page) to learn what's useful. We don't collect personal information for this.

We do not sell alcohol, and we don't link to alcohol retailers.
